Pre-employment medical assessment

PEME Programme

Enhanced pre-employment medical examination for seafarers

The enhanced PEME programme is designed to reduce claims and medical costs by going beyond the statutory minimum requirements and helps shipowners reduce avoidable claims, medical emergencies and unexpected repatriation costs.

Who is it for? Shipowners recruiting crew from countries such as the Philippines, India and Ukraine.

ECDIS Training Assessment (ETA)

Online knowledge assessment for safe ECDIS operation

The ETA is an online assessment of 48 questions based on realistic ECDIS scenarios, taking approximately 40 minutes to complete. Participants receive a personal report and a training package to address any knowledge gaps in a targeted manner. Available free of charge to members.

Who is it for? Shipowners who wish to assess and improve the navigational knowledge of their deck officers.
